Is Thrive a better fit for small, medium, or large operations?2020-07-21T20:41:05+00:00

Can can be a great fit for all different size companies.  We have Thrivers from companies with under 100 people all the way to billion dollar corporations.  Here is why it fits all sizes…when you are small you do not have many human resources to drive process documentation tools or crunch data.  So you might not track quality nonconformances (as an example), but you know within your smaller team what your issues are to fix.  As you grow your ability to know what issues are costing you money becomes harder to know and your processes harder to manage.  Most companies at this point hire a leader to oversee the quality program.  The leader understands they need tools to help them see data and make decisions.  So they start having their team track information in Excel or maybe they go buy a process specific software.  This works well and the organization gains visibility to their data, makes changes and drives improvements.  Since it worked well and they are growing, they do the same thing with their safety program and maintenance program and continuous improvement program…you get the idea.  The problem then changes as now they have data being tracked in 4 or 14 software systems, none of them interact with each other, they have different reporting tools and dashboards, you wish the cool features from one would be on the others…you know what we are talking about.  So as a small company if you started off with Thrive and grew into the modules as it fits your priorities, Thrive will streamline your operations now and in 5 years.  If you are a large company, you will cost justify the entire purchase of Thrive usually with the use of only one module and then have the other Thrive tools (for example Leader Standard Work) to leverage as needed later.  You also have the whole Thrive platform that allows for systems integration on your industry 4.0 journey or the opportunity for additional custom process to be added.  Talk to our customers to verify this!  Check out some of the testimonials on our Videos page to hear from different sizes of businesses and the value Thrive brings.

Can we talk to current Thrive users?2020-07-21T20:46:21+00:00

Sure! We encourage you to.  After a demo and discussion with our team we are happy to link you up with current users.  Every company that started using Thrive since 2005 still uses it today.  That is almost unheard of in the software world, but it is who we are and what Thrive is about in being your operations partner for life, not just for the sale.   Our customers would love to talk to you about their Thrive experiences, schedule a call with us and we can refer you to some.  Watch now what one of our customers has to say about Thrive.

What does a Thrive implementation look like?2020-07-21T20:22:19+00:00

Implementation of Thrive at your operations varies based on your particular operations needs and what portions of Thrive that you wish to implement. We have had companies get Thrive going in a matter of days and operators using Thrive the day they log into their new account.   Once you decide that Thrive will provide value for your operations, we will develop a custom implementation plan with your company that will roll out Thrive with success and ease.

Check out this video where Jamie breaks down the basics on our implementation process.

Which companies are most successful using Thrive?2020-07-21T20:15:13+00:00

First off, we believe software alone is not going to solve your problems.  Our philosophy is you need to have the right leadership in place and a process before you buy software.  If you have the first two, software should help drive efficiency and provide value to drive change. Thrive does this through its ease of use in data entry, real time reporting and dashboards, escalations, and because it is easy to manage without involving IT.  Some characteristics of the companies that will get the most value out of Thrive:

  • Want to control their process destiny
  • Own the process and change
  • Value their team members
  • High expectations for results, not just talk

Do most companies use all the Thrive modules?2020-07-21T20:11:34+00:00

No.  Most companies do not use all modules, nor would we say they should.  Thrive should fit into your plans within operations.  So, if your priority is to better manage your maintenance program, then start with that module in Thrive.  When the time comes that a safety software is priority, then leverage that area of Thrive.   If you like what you are doing within your quality team and your systems are working, do not change it.  Many companies will start with 2 or 3 areas of Thrive they want to implement in the first year.  The goal is not to use all of Thrive, the goal is to use the parts of Thrive that makes sense for your company.

Is Thrive an on-premise software solution or software as a service?2020-07-21T20:10:38+00:00

Thrive is installed as an on-premise (behind your firewall) solution for some companies and a software as a service (SAAS – hosted site) for other companies.   Whether we host Thrive for you in the cloud, or we install it on-premise, Thrive will be identical in its features, tools, and functionality.  You pick the option that is best for your operations and pricing structure.  Hosting pricing will be an monthly subscription which includes technical support and forever updates and upgrades.  The on-premise installation is a one-time purchase with annual maintenance for technical support and forever updates and upgrades.  Please see pricing table on our Homepage to see our Thrive pricing.

How much does Thrive cost?2020-07-21T20:09:09+00:00

We are not afraid to share our pricing, in fact, we think you deserve to learn this right away when checking out a software solution. Thrive pricing is simple- you buy Thrive, you get Thrive for your whole company. What does that mean?  This means that you can create an unlimited number of individual Thrive accounts for all of your people that want to get into Thrive–from operators all the way to the front office. Our goal is to get Thrive working for you, not you having to change your pricing structure every time you want to buy another seat for a user or sacrifice individual account preferences by sharing accounts.  We want the visibility, organization and accountability that you get with Thrive to be able to be extended to every single person in your organization that will benefit from this and the best way to do this is to give Thrive access to all.  We have an easy pricing structure that is spelled out clearly on our pricing table found halfway down our Homepage.

What can we expect for an ROI?2020-07-20T19:16:13+00:00

This is a deep question that people want a simple answer for.  We can share numbers, but it goes back to our philosophy that software is not your solution.  It is a tool for the right people who have a process they are wanting to improve.  So, depending the amount of current waste in your process your opportunity may be great, or you might just track a bunch of data and do nothing with it.  We have seen companies improve line efficiency by 40% in 3 months, but the software alone didn’t do that.  We are happy to visit about the details of your process and goals during a demo to help build an ROI with you.  A visit with some current Thrive users will also help you nail down your cost justification.

Will Thrive work on my mobile phone or tablet?2020-07-21T20:08:19+00:00

Thrive is fully mobile responsive. Thrive is web-based and accessible on all mobile devices and tablets.  When you get your personal Thrive account, your company will tell you where your Thrive application can be found on any internet browser where you will find your company login screen.

Do you have a Thrive App?2020-07-21T03:34:00+00:00

Does it work on your phone? Absolutely. Do you have to download something from an app store? No. Thrive is designed to work on your browser across all different device form factors, and without sacrificing functionality as you move from one device to another. Upload pictures, complete tasks, open reports, all on your mobile device.
