Lean Technologies, Inc. (“Lean Tech”) provides this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) to inform you how we collect, use, and disclose information, including personal information that you or a representative of your company may provide. This Privacy Policy applies to leantech.com (the “site”) and associated sites operated by Lean Tech for the purposes of providing information about products and services offered. Additionally, this Privacy Policy applies to Thrive Software (“Thrive”, “application”) sites that are hosted by Lean Tech as a service for the subscribing or licensed company (“company”,”employer”).

Collection and Usage of Information

By using the Site, you consent to the collection and use of your personal information by Lean Tech consistent with applicable data protection law and this Privacy Policy. Lean Tech collects and uses the information you provide to us, including information obtained from your use of the Site. Lean Tech may use or share Personal Information (e.g. name, address, phone number, email address) where it is necessary to complete a transaction or perform a service you have requested. We may use the information that we collect for our business purpose to develop, improve, and enhance the products and services that we provide and for advertising and marketing consistent with this Privacy Policy. By using the site or application, you acknowledge, consent and agree that Lean Tech may collect, process, and use the information that you provide to us and that such information shall only be used by Lean Tech or third parties acting under the direction of Lean Tech in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

The following are collection methods and uses of the information we collect:

The Lean Tech Site: We may collect information about your use of the website, activities, preferences, browser type, IP address, and location. While we may collect or log this information using web site analytics, we do not identify you or match the non-personal information described herein with any personal information. Any personal information collected by the site through choosing to complete a contact submission form is voluntary and used to respond to your request and will be handled as Personal Information.

Thrive Application: By using the Thrive product you consent to the collection and use of personal information (e.g. Name, email address, phone number, job title, labor codes, employee ID, labor rates) to be used within the application at the discretion of the Company. Lean Tech maintains this data only within the Thrive environment accessible by the Company and does not use this information for any Lean Tech business processes.

Cookies: The Lean Tech Site and Thrive application use “cookies” and related technology to personalize the user experience. A cookie is a text file that is created by the browser and placed on the device hard drive. Cookies are unique to the user and only read by the web application in the domain that issued the cookie. The cookies are primarily used as a convenience for the user by saving information about the user interaction with the page to expedite similar activities during future visits to the page. For example, a Thrive user may apply a filter to a data set whereby a cookie will be created to “remember” this setting for the next visit to the same page. You have the option to use or not use cookies. The web browser settings will determine the behavior of allowing cookies to be saved, life cycle of the cookie, and the ability to manually remove cookies at any time.

When Lean Tech May Share Information that has been Collected: Lean Tech may share Personal Information within Lean Tech to fulfill its obligations to you and to operate its business consistent with the Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law. In addition to what is expressly stated in this Privacy Policy, Lean Tech may also share your Personal Information with third parties in the following situations

Enabling Services. An important communication feature of the Thrive application is the ability to communicate with users via email. Thrive utilizes 3rd Party Email services and will share personal information to the extent that is necessary to enable these services. The company administrators have the ability to control email communication from the application and users may opt out of the service. By design, the use of email in the Thrive workflow is often critical to the overall usefulness of the application so it is encouraged to speak with the company administrator before opting out of the email.

Public Information. Any information disclosed in public areas of a Lean Tech site or other site (LinkedIn, Twitter, X, YouTube, etc) will become public information. Lean Tech cannot control the use of information disclosed in public forums, blogs, chats, and networking sites.

As Required by Law and Other Extraordinary Disclosures. Lean Tech may be required to disclose your Personal Information if it: (i) believes in its sole judgment that such disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with legal process (such as a court order, subpoena, search warrant, etc.) or other legal requirements of any governmental authority, (ii) would potentially mitigate our liability in an actual or potential lawsuit, (iii) is otherwise necessary to protect our rights or property, or (iv) is necessary to protect the legal rights or property of others.

Marketing Communications. When you provide Lean Tech with Personal Information, we may communicate with you using the information you have given us to provide you with information we think may be of interest to you as permitted by law.

Security for Privacy. Lean Tech takes reasonable measures to protect the security of your personal information. This includes implementing appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Quality, Including Data Subjects’ Responsibilities for Quality. Lean Tech is committed to ensuring that the personal information we collect is accurate, complete, and up-to-date. We rely on you to provide accurate information and to update it as necessary. If you believe that your personal information is inaccurate or needs to be updated, please contact us to make the necessary changes.

Monitoring and Enforcement . When Lean Tech receives formal written complaints, it is Lean Tech’s policy to contact the complaining user regarding their concerns. We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Lean Tech and an individual.

Changes to This Privacy Policy by Lean Tech. If in the future we change our Privacy Policy, we will post the new Privacy Policy on this Site. We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy in the future. Your continued use of this Site following a change in the Privacy Policy represents consent to the new Privacy Policy to the fullest extent permitted by law.
